Clearly he haven't looked at the new legion requirements. That is all I have to say on this matter.

Not sure why you're still trying to prove your point. WoW in general doesnt even come close to any of the triple aaa titles in terms of system usage such as dying light, witcher 3, mgs5, gta 5 etc

No I didnt say its as powerful as the new games, but it holds its own. Anyhow I used it as a benchmark, albeit a poor one.

You clearly haven't seen Alliance Garrison on Ultra, my R9 390 struggles to stay on 55 fps, shitload of dynamic shadows and lightning.

Also heat depends on the system, mine never goes above 65º with 60 FPS on full ultra on WoW(except the darn garrison), BF4, Dota 2, Crysis 3 or Watchdogs. Considering that the card temp on idle is 40º and fans only startup at 61º at 20%.

And yes Lich, WoW is a 12 year old game, kind of a bad comparison.

Leaf with Dat suggestion

I was gonna suggest an undervolt, but depending on how you undervolt it, it may degrade performance.
I'd honestly go with Ray's suggestion, get a decent cooling pad, but don't skimp out on it. More you pay, more it helps. Also, if you can, try to fit a new CPU cooler in it? (If it can of course :P )

Hopefully you get this sorted out Flash!

Re: Gaming laptop, heating an issue?

I have put computers to the test and I can tell you that getting a cooling pad should do the trick. I have had plenty of laptops eventually the laptop will get hotter and faster. It will eventually slow down your PC I have experienced this first hand. But the thing is laptops are going to get hot and there isn't much you can do besides get a cooling pad and remove some panels from the bottom to let air flow more freely (this is if your stationary and not going to be moving your laptop alot). Also unless you spend alot of money and get a really good laptop this is going to end up happening. But always back up your data and do you best to keep it cool or maybe call the company and ask for a replacement.
