Activity Requirements

Once upon a time, SmG used to have activity requirements to maintain member ranks. This is no longer the case. You do not need to maintain activity in anyway to keep your member rank.
That being said, there are ranks that require a certain level of activity, and higher levels of activity will benefit you in regards to potential staff promotions. This page will elaborate further on those points.

Activity Guide

There are a few different things you can do to be active:

Make posts - You can make posts or threads on the forums.
Chat on the discord server - You can chat in the several different channels we have in our discord server.
Talk in voice chats - Another way to be active is to talk in the voice chats on our discord.
Be friendly/helpful - When you see new people in chat, make them feel welcome and help answer any questions they may have.
Refer new members - Use your referral link to recruit new members to SmG! You can find more information about the Referral system here.

If you are going Away for longer than 3 months, remember to set your forum status to Away so that SmG is informed and your friends know where you are. If you are unsure how to do that, click here.

Rank Requirements

Some SmG ranks have certain activity-based requirements, such as post count and referrals. If you wish to attain these ranks, or be considered for future staff promotions, it is suggested that you review these requirements and utilize the activity guide above to help you reach these ranks. The motivation to go above and beyond would certainly look good on a staff application, just saying.

Member - Upgrading from New Member to the full Member role requires 25 posts.
Scout - If you want to go above an beyond, the Scout role requires 300 posts and at least 25 referrals. Information on referrals can be found here.
Senior Member - This role is for members that have been around for at least 3 years, but also requires 300 posts. So don't just sit around for a few years, stay active!
