Well the idea for up and downvotes is also to tell what is popular and active. But everytime a person post on a thread it gets bumped up anyways.

I mean Helheim has a point it gets bumped so there is no need for that anyways we have other things you can do from giving rep to putting up to 5 stars on the post.
