I think a ordinary forest works best. Herobrine does not stay in a specific place. It goes all over the world. So it should be a boss that can attack you surprisingly.

Ya but that'll ruin when you mine and stuff, it's not like your going to have short cut commands in singleplayer.

That's the whole point. Besides in servers you have a command /back.
