Building a PC

Hey guys (I love you) I generally know nothing about making computers and the parts and whatever but I definitely want to build a solid and good PC by the time I head off to Uni so I was wondering what tips and pointers you guys could give me so I can know what I'm doing by the time I do this and have the money for it (lol).
I spent most of today making this and researching it so I guess you guys can lead me off what I chose there by telling me what I could change or would work better or whatever. And yeah I know the 8 tb is overkill lol

Re: Building a PC

SSDs are too expensive for the size i want. I changed it up recently to include a 250 GB SSD for the OS and other shit i want to load quickly and a 4 TB hdd for files and whatever else takes up room

Re: Building a PC

Not a bad build but I suggest looking at the i7-4970k.

Re: Building a PC

Although I don't have much experience building a PC.
If you are gonna game then you don't need too many cores. I have the 4790K and is awesome :D.
The base clock is higher and single core performance is better. I would recommend the 4790K.
