I am all for a reboot but you guys don't understand the amount of work, time, and money that is involved in re-vamping our forums. So if your going to provide the funds to pay programmers or do it yourself then we aren't really in a position to do it. Also after setting up anything new on the forum I have to do a full security check of the forum and patch any security flaws in the system which takes a very long time. As it is keeping this forum from getting hacked took us a years. There are still vulnerabilities we probably missed.

Also alone our award system was completely customized PHPBB doesn't have a fully functioning award system. Pirate and I created it from scratch.

Instead of you guys worrying about something completely useless. Worry about the servers and what games we should move to. Literally the looks of this forum has nothing to do with our problems. We have to look at the source problem and concentrate our full focus on that. Which again are the servers because the servers are the ones that get us people.

A reboot isn't in the cards right now unless we get members to donate. We need more members now a different website. Yes it would be nice but it would be time consuming and cost alot. I have a new SmG site but the dev backed out and I don't have time for it.

And again we go into the cycle of Forums > Servers > Donations. If anyone recalled I made a very similar thread and it got denied out of hand (I'll pull that link up later....), but what need right now, is not forums, not more servers, and while donations always comes in handy (looking at Nero here), we need the members. Meaning the lazy nubs that are purple (coughAlloycough), should get out there and recruit. Not like that attempt to get an inter-clan halo tournament.

We need to servers to get the members. How else do we advertise? Servers are our number one source of advertising. And it is not the recruiters job to go out and find people. All they do is test the people who submitted the application. Alloy and the other recruiters are active. But the amount of people posting an application to join the clan is low.

Again SERVERS is the key to our problems. We need to have good quality servers and maybe servers in other games.
