    I am a Computer Scientist not a Information Technology expert that means that I don't care about hardware. 
    I need more RAM for my computer I have attempted a few times to purchase working RAM for it but it never works lol. If you can help me with this please let me know.

    He has an Alienware, and they're cunts to get ram for.
    For some reason they use ECC RAM (server RAM) for their builds, fucking stupid.
    Cloud bite the bullet and build your own PC, you won't have these issues with a custom built machine.

    its basically DELL's fault for putting those types of things like proprietary stuff in Alienware computers, currently have the Aurora R2 which is 5 years old. lol
    I dont know if they still make proprietary stuff for the new Aurora and Area 51
