Yea after some competitive games the game forced a cool down upon me so that It may calibrate my skill group for the next 24 hours.

Like wtf what game takes 24 hours to place a rank?

Rank system is shit. CSGO was great before ranks was introduced.

If you had a brain, you would be able to conclude that it is to prevent excessive smurfing alongside the level system.

I remember this being discussed extensively in this section of the forums. If you did a little digging you would have known this. I don't play and even I know this lol.

It's so that no one can buy the game and instantly play and blatantly cheat, smurf like crazy, or be placed too high if they're doing really good in just a day. So this way, it'll see how you preform day after day, instead of one day, gathering an average of your 'skill'

I don't mind it much. I sstill suggest moving to Insurgency, as it's a $14 game, more realistic, and comp is on its way to being better and more noticed for it
