M4 is well balanced overall for all ranges. M16 for long or very close range. Burst fire will take people down the quickest compared to M4 but the recoil is much more.

M16 honestly because it looks cooler, I don't even play this game

Honestly I prefer the suppressor on the M1 as compared to the larger bullet pools of the M4

I usually prefer the M16, burst is just so nice when it comes to breaching or later in the round.

I also don't really feel much difference between them at longer ranges. It's still like 5 shots with either.

Did they get around to making the stock actually do anything?
