Of course!! 10,000+ people are playing minecraft these days... I think this game is just getting more popular.

Well last I checked, hypixel had 40k players online at the same time, up from a couple of years ago.
So it's harder to survive as a small server if you are trying to make a profit. Players are gravitating towards large and stable servers knowing they can donate for a rank that won't disappear along with the server a couple of weeks/months later. Also large servers have the revenue to keep making new game modes and adding cool plugins.

So Minecraft probably won't go away anytime soon. But I know better games will come.

Mc is an alright game but the new version of it which allows cross play between PE, Win 10, Switch and Xbox one has brought a lot of negative thoughts on it in the past few months. Some of it's complexity is annoying and slows gameplay down

Minecraft never dies! ofc its still worth it (Even if youre just using it for modpacks)

I played it for 3 years straight without stopping. The updates till 1.8 were good and all, but after 1.9 it's ruined.
