Monitors sleep, desktop crashes, Win 10 GTX 960

GTX 960- During a game, it'll put my monitors to sleep, then I'll get an error sound, as if the desktop crashed, needing a restart. This happens awywhere from 10-30mins during CSGO or Overwatch(only two games I've played lately). Sounds still work, can still communicate with team, but monitors wont wake up, and everything will stop responding shortly afterwards.
I've tried three different Win 10 installs, used DDU to remove nvidia drivers and reinstall, removed and reinserted my gpu.

Asus G20AJ
i7-4790
16gb ddr3
GTX 960
Windows 10

Anyone know a solution?

I had this with Overwatch where I couldn't see anything but I could hear sounds and was able to move too if I recall correctly. Had to force shut down and restart my pc each time it happened. A temporary fix for me was to change it to Border-less Windowed. I too have a 960 but its a laptop so its the mobile version.

If you're feeling up to it:

Check to see if your BIOS is up to date. (I do not recommend updating this yourself)
Check Graphics Drivers are up to date. (Update them if not)
Check Power Settings thoroughly for anything fishy.

Are you running Windows 10?

What's probably happening is a bottleneck, your CPU and gpu are overheating themselves, and there's a large power struggle between the two. What I recommend is you buy a more recent gpu like a 1050 or 1060 to balance the two, and if you have a low quality power supply, like a 500W bronze, upgrade that to about a 600W or more silver, then you should be good. Contact me if you have other problems.

Be careful in selecting the psu. From experience; bad psu can even fry your system.

I think you have no other choice than to disable sleep mode in settings.
