The last time I played Halo online was in the August of 2013 during my summer holidays. 
For all the talk of the game being dead I remember there used to be 1000 players or more during peak times. Even 2000 at times if I remember correctly.
For anyone who has played the game recently, how is the population now?
Xfire is gone, do people use Evolved or have they moved to Discord?
If at all you scrimmed, do they still happen now?
All those tryhards who would say "they quit" but then would be asking for a '2v2 hpt' literally the very next day, are they still there?
Finally, hows the developer community? Is new content/ custom maps still released?
I just found out that the spv3 mod has been finally fully released!

Halo CE is pretty much dead, you have the occasional players who scrim off FB groups. Apart from that, only a few public servers are full.
