Im not sure if there had already been a thread about this, I'm not going to look through all of it because believe or not a I have somewhat of a life. Anyways, I think people with the rank 'Member' and up should be able to change their name on the forums. Why? Well I think it would be cool to have a bit more customization with our profiles, because sometimes I just want to change my name to something else and I don't really want to bother an admin with my request. (And obviously you guys should have a filter with names)

We only allow a limited change of names, because if people kept changing their name every so often, we'd lose track of who is who very quickly. You've got Discord for that, if you feel like donning a temporary name, but everyone's always got an alias that they generally go by, and that's what the forums one are, in my opinion.

After discussion with leadership your suggestion has been denied as we feel it would lead to confusion with people changing their names all the time.
It's hard enough trying to keep up with all the name changes on Discord.
Please keep the suggestions coming though.
