Id say SAO, although i really enjoyed ggo, wasnt nearly as good as the first season, im sure fairy tail is more consistent xD

Well honestly I like Fairy Tail much more, because in Sao everything after the first Act i dont like it that much.. Its a pretty downer.
Fairy Tail is just Fairy Tail and have everything for an good Fantasy Anime :)

Idk which one is better but quite like SAO alternative Gun Gale Online it is pretty good in my opinion
