Depends on the weapons of the enemy and your weapons, as well as your nades

If you're outnumbered and you're hoping to retake site and defuse the bomb, then better have at least a flash or two and a smoke, or you won't get very far unless it's very low ELO.

Also depends on the time, if 20 seconds has already passed you'd have to kill 1-2+ people and defuse the bomb, or retake in a way that they can't stop you from defusing.

Finally, if you don't have anything of value on you, trying may be better than not trying, but if you have a rifle, full armor and nades it's usually just better to save and let it explode.

Yeah, like Icemon was saying it's all about the situation. In CS miss using one second can be the difference between winning and losing. The only thing I think Icemon left out was, No matter if you're trying to defuse or save for the next round, make the decision quick, and don't second guess your decision. There's nothing worse than putting yourself in a bad situation because you couldn't make up your mind.

Depends on how many kills you have that game or how confident you are with your aim.

If it's like a 4v1 situation and all of them are camping on the bomb... really no point in trying. Unless one or two of them make a mistake and leave the site and you get the kill then, hell yeah go for it.

I personally would try to save and kill as many terrorists I can before the round ends, but if it's like x/13, or x/14 - I would try to focus and clutch the round.
You could try to ninja defuse - If you get lucky of course. And as others already mentioned, depends on a situation.
