Doesn’t get much more disappointing than this...  here we are in 2018 without a proper PC port since Halo 2, and they just pull the plug because it has more active players than Halo 5 on Xbox..... ok maybe not but still.

ElDorito is running Microsoft assets and property. Microsoft has legal standing to shut ElDorito.

Microsoft and 343i support fan made Halo stuff like Installation 01.

Installation 01 does not go over Copyrights violations and all assets are made by the devs.

Battlefire.... no offense buddy, but I don’t thing anyone was talking what’s legal and what’s not. I think we are all just sharing our disappointment. Anyone with half a brain can see the legal issues.... and no one was disputing that. Also, it’s old news that they had no issues with Installation 01 (to this point). Had that news hit my YouTube update months ago. Personally I was just hoping it would be a little more off the radar like the prior version was.

Bottom line.... People have a right to be disappointed about it, and it’s safe to at least assume 343 and Microsoft are jealous of its popularity. However, they know now they have to deliver on their PC remarks. The effort behind El Dewrito says enough on its own despite the population of its player base.
