SmG was born from Halo and I was really looking forward to getting back into it. For now I guess we will just wait it out for a week or so. Then if the server list and game are still up then we will start working on the servers again.

Personally I might just host the download of the game myself for everyone to download.

@SmG Surreal it survived cause the mod itself follows the rules it's just that the game itself need Microsoft's assets to work. So they had to take the downloads out because they contained said assets

Also it still runs because you can hosts servers so it's not like they could take them down

I still play it lol. A lot of people think The Master Chief Collection is gonna get put on PC once they finally get it to a build they like after these new updates the're doing.

Just because you have the right to do something doesn't always mean you should. I'm just glad microsoft/343 has taken note of its popularity and will hopefully release a full halo game on pc soon. Not to mention how well the play anywhere system is doing with sea of thieves and state of decay 2.
