Have fun to be honest, you have to get to level 30 for ranked, so I suggest you have fun. A cool little tip to help you choose a role, in champ select there will be 5 buttons, Top, Mid, Bot, Support, Jungle. Just so you're not harassed and have the most optimal experience play the champions that go to that role. Figure out what role you enjoy more, and then you can go into specifics of champions.
