Next 2 weeks in order to seminar event in my campus, Kaspersky lower the price of its antivirus product from IDR 150.000 to IDR 50.000.
Is it worth to buy? Or I can use the free edition of it?

I use Kaspersky mobile protection. Its free for the first month and it was worth it in my mobile. As far as I know, Kaspersky is one of the best Anti-virus softwares ever released for PC too. I think its worth the price. However do check online stores, for better price.

I use ESET it is pretty good antivirus program

In my opinion I use panda protection antivirus it is free and you basically don't need to buy it you get all the same features as premium antiviruses another Pro is that it uses very low system resources it has been my favorite antivirus so far

Kaspersky is good, but these are what are deemed to be the best currently in the industry:

• Bitdefender
  
• Microsoft Essentials
  
• Avast
  

It's only fitting to also have a Anti Malware program too. I'd suggest Malwarebytes, Emisoft or Zemana.

Security nazi? Get a anti-ransomware and Firewall too.

I mean you kinda get what you pay for. The free stuff is great and if your on windows. Their package is almost all you need. Plus a few online scan tools and malwarebytes.

But even malwarebytes gives you a 30 day trial of their pay premium. And the difference is there. It will stop things johnny on the spot. Unlike just the free you have to wait till you scan to find any threats.

Depending on what you need to secure i think kaspersky may be worth it.
