It’s kind of split as Fortnite appeals to lots of fans through skins constant updates and with the building mechanic it also introduces competition between friends e.g Who can build the best/outbuild someone.

However PubG has a better sense of realism and is seen as superior due to its realistic graphics and having been out for longer than fortnite

I personally like Pubg better as Fortnite feels too cartoonish to me. But then again it's just my opinion and am in not way saying Fortnite is bad. It's just not appealing to me is all. Also, I find Pubg player base to be a bit more mature ON AN AVERAGE compares to Fortnite player base.
