There are loads of these available online, 2 minutes of googling + 10 minutes of set up would effectively stop all raids in the Discord server. Even though spam bots can be stopped by staff it's a lot more tedious to do so manually than just letting a bot handle it. If there is ever a raid while there are no staff online the server would be effectively shut down (potentially for 1 hour+). The discord has 3000+ members its big enough that it's a target for raids and the fact that there's no bot to handle it leaves the server fairly vulnerable. There are people who raid discords with thousands of accounts and without these kind of automated responses the server isn't ready to handle that if it ever happens.

Yeah like I said humans can do the job of the bot but it literally takes 15 minutes to set it up and it will stop the problem from happening within a minute at the max and is always online, unlike moderators who have to sleep and the spam would continue for a relatively much longer period of time before the issue was dealt with. It's also theoretically possible for a raid to be big enough that it would take an extremely long time for a single mod or even a couple to stop it for a fairly long time.

Is a good spam bot to use if that route is taken, it does take a while to look through the commmands and set it up tho.

When set up it's actually very solid.

Yeah there are other good ones. I think Dyno has some anti spam features but there are other ones like the one you mentioned and Switchblade for example. Definitely worth the effort IMO
