we had a spam channel then it was decided that it was no longer needed that was during my time as a mod.

if there were a spam channel, there'd be a ton of crap we don't want people to see, like offensive words, racist comments and everything else which could get tangled in the mess of messages. The community of 30k is rather toxic in some areas as well, so that'd just make the idea of a spam channel so much worse.

We had a spam channel and it was the most useless channel that had nothing but rubbish posts and rule breakers posting crap.
All it achieves is that the staff have to monitor another annoying channel.
