Ok, so I'm really terrible at math and right now I'm taking ap stats in my school and I have two homework question I'm stuck and struggling on. Any type of help would be appreciated, other than that, the subject is on bias and unbiased and basically the problem is: 

Determine whether the survey question is biased, if the question is biased, suggest a better wording.
1. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 
2. Do you think the media have a negative effect on teen girls' dieting habits?

The first question is unbiased the second is biased. The biased question tries to get you to answer a certain way. Heres a more extreme example:
"Do you drive to work or bike"

vs

"Do you destroy the environment by driving a car or do you care about our planet and bike?" Nobody wants to say they destroy the planet so they will be more inclined to say they bike, regardless of if they do or not.

An answer for the second question would be "What do you think effects the weight of teenage girls" or "What effect does TV have on teenage girls?"



Also as a side note my stats book was obsessed with girl's and their weight and it was really creepy, seems like yours is too lol
