That's too simple of a test, hell they could be saving and they may pay you back a little later. Do this. Step one, pay for a meal of theirs. If they don't commitment to remember what you did a repay it, that's already a bad sign. Step two, observe their verbal behavior. If they only use you as a third source when they have an argument, always wanna know what you're doing, wanna know your secrets but never tell you their secrets, that's an even worse sign. Do they only ever wanna go out when they have to spend as little money as possible, hell, even make you pay? That's horrible sign. And if you're the rebound girl or guy on non-bi? That means they didn't love you enough to choose you the first time. That is one of the worst signs in the world. It's like a stop sign when you have to be somewhere and you're running late. You are only a handicap for them, so it's best let go of that anchor and sail to new shores.
