That is the exact reason I made SmG, to make sure no one feels like they are alone. SmG was made to be a place to have fun, be yourself, and have a caring family to talk to everyday.

I know our family here isn't perfect and doesn't always see eye to eye. But remember each one of you have a place to call home....SmG.

I just want you to remember that you are never alone because you are apart of SmG. No matter how amazingly good or absolutely terrible your day was SmG will still be here for you. Don't ever forget that.

Here comes an emotional post, so apologies in advance. But I felt obligated to say something on this post.

For years, and years, and years I've dealt with anxiety and depression; when I'm depressed I shut down and isolate myself from everyone and everything. Mainly because I feel better when I'm alone, but also hate being alone at the same time; it's an insanely contradicting thing. Sad thing is, I'm always alone, by my own choice no less. I joined this community, this server because I felt like it could potentially help me come out of this sh***y shell of mine. I wanna be able to be more open, social, and involved with others; having fun, playing games, but I find myself having a hard time to do so. I'm still very, very new to this whole server and still don't know a whole lot of you; but I'm hoping to make more and more friends if I'm lucky enough.

Sorry for being such a drag and bring the mood down in this thread, but I felt it necessary on my end to be forthcoming and open with everybody. Something about the thread just resonated with me, like REALLY resonated.

Anyway, sorry again about being a downer, and I hope to meet more of you and get to play some games together.
