This is a rough idea that could breathe some new life into SmGs community. This is an idea in the baby stages so please remember that this could never happen.

So as SmGs bills are increasing. I am trying to find ways to start making more money from SmG. (other than the merch that will be release when I find more time rather than day to day stuff. We only have one shirt design at this moment in time). I don't mind putting out money for SmG. Everyone that knows me should know that. I am also very grateful for the donations. But I want to continue to be able to make SmG grow as fast as possible and money definitely helps.

So I was thinking about possibly adding Custom Usergroups.



Example:
So if I as an SmG member and I wanted to create this custom user group.
1. I would have to pay a custom group creation fee or maybe monthly fee. It would be pretty expensive and would continuously get more expensive as more custom groups were made. This would make me the group "OWNER"
2. The custom group would have to be verified by me to make sure it doesn't conflict with SmGs current rules,goals, and interests.
3. The usergroup would be created.

What would be the benefits of this usergroup?
-A Custom Forum Group
-A Custom Discord Role made for the group.
-A Custom Group Color that would match the role on Discord (that isn't already assigned to an Official SmG Role).
-It would have a theme. So for example I would pick lets say...Programming!
-You would have a custom userbar.
-You would have a private Discord Section
-You would have a Private Sub forum
-You can invite, kick, and manage your own members within the group as long as all SmG rules are followed.
-You can promote other leaders to help manage your custom usergroup.

 So basically you would be a leader of this said group. You could invite someone to the group and give them the role on discord and forum. Which would give them access to the private discord and forum section. You could have users apply for the group if you wanted. Shoot you could even make them pay to get in.


Example Group:

Group Name: Legendary
Theme: Programming
Description: A Private group that only accepts programmers and coders. We strive to help the community increase its coding expertise by spreading our coding knowledge.
Recruiting Method: Invite Only (You must be invited by the leader of the group to join)

Then I would invite Kermit since she is such a master programmer.

Anyways this is just an idea I had that could possibly spice up SmG while also helping keep the money coming in. Thoughts?

We need to discuss this more about it during the meetings.

It's kinda confusing but maybe after having enough suggestions and money, maybe then try it out? See how it works first.

I'd say to maybe try it out with one group and see how it goes, but maybe people will pay for like one month and then start their own discord server and just do that as promotion. That could be something that might want to be avoided.
