This is kind of how I feel about my reason for liking anime. Maybe not the art style, but the medium of animation itself. There are so many things possible in animation that you just can't do in live-action, almost to the point where anything is possible if you can think of it. Even things that would look straight up goofy as hell and weird if they had been filmed with real people can be made to look good in animation. I guess I love anime for the creativity it inspires and allows if that makes sense.
