Right now administrators are the only staff members that are able to do username changes. Since Discord allows users to change their name anyway we were thinking about giving all users on the forum that ability? Obviously this would be limited to a certain amount of times you can do this in a certain time frame e.g. once a month. Your usernames will also be tracked by a username log publicly available on your forum profile.

Would you guys like this feature?

there will be username change logs and everyone can see it. Also if you add them to your buddy list you'll never lose them!

Maybe make it so a user can only change his name once and if he wants to change his name in the future he can talk to an admin about it.

Put it behind approval. Even with logs it could turn chaotic. You don't want wild usernames running around ahahha

Maybe make it a system where they can request to change their name and then a staff member approves the name and its automatically changed

Isnt this something special donators could only do? If you do make it like everyone can donators do loose one of their special things they were able to do.
