Neat feature but what if someone changed his username in the wrong way *example added a wrong latter or number* and wanted to edit it does he have to dm an admin or just wait 60 days?

You have to re-type in your password before you can submit the Username change. IMO if you're careless enough not to double-check what you've written then that's a YOU problem.

In rare circumstances if the mistake is obvious then yes, an admin may change it for you but I wouldn't bank on it.

No but like what if someone changes their username and youre trying to find soemthing and you cant because you didnt know they changed it

Again, this has always been a problem. When an admin changed someone's username, how were you able to find it? Because you didn't know they got it changed. Admins didn't announce changes.

Another option would be to make a page where you can type in a username, and it will load up all the users that have gone by that username in the past. I make no promises.
