I was at tryouts and took a soccer ball clean to the throat. Can't talk at all or it hurts to atleast. Has anyone else ever been hit in the throat by some sort of sports ball?

Not really. Did get a soccer ball full speed 5m from me to my head. Knocked me out for a while :(

I had to keep drinking water to breath during those small garggle breaks

Nah more like my "batteries". Twice. And trust me that sensational feeling after it hits the area will crush you for 30 minutes straight.
