I have played original Minecraft on PS4 and i got to diamond and explored the Nether Realm and it got pretty stale after that. 
I'm just curious what keeps you guys/girls playing it?
even though you've explored the vastness of the game already and gotten a hold of every kind of item and armor in the game?

I usually do "bigger" quality of life projects, making farms, exp food whatever. then I make a big house filled with redstone contraptions

pretty much i converted to Rust because i felt like there was more to do i guess? and more personal interactions whether it was PvP or base building together.

I'd play Rust, but its too expensive, and I feel like it would get too complicated. I like mc because it's pretty easy, but has things that are still fun after many years f.e redstone

 Oh its not expensive! you can get it on G2A its on Humble Bundle all the time!
I highly recommend it , its super awesome i have 3,000 hours on it !

I dont play rust but my friends do they told me it was good but im too lazy to try it

I can only play most games for long periods of time if I have friends to play with

If we talking about modding it, then I usually just jump into a mod pack and see what kind of things I can do in it. If it is just vanilla, then I play to see how much and how big I can make my mansion before getting bored of it.
