A lot of people fear death because of what could come next in the afterlife. A lot of people also fear having immortality because they don't want to live out their loved ones.

So, if given the option, would you choose to die in two weeks or have immortality? Why?



Okay, to be honest, I think I would choose to die in two weeks because living forever sounds exhausting.

If you had immortality you would die because eventually this whole world gonna blow up... in a sense I’d rather die in 2 weeks just because immortality sounds boring asf

When we are talking Immortality, are we assuming we can still be destroyed but have no lifespan or talking "god mode." -- I only bring this up for the rest of this thread's participants.

Either way, I'll take up on the offer of immortality. While I am a very empathetic person, I find it easy to compartmentalize my feelings. With that conundrum aside, the love for science that I have leaves me curious to what we can develop. The thought that we may be space-faring worth contending in the far-future (near maybe? in my life-time? o.o). It is an appealing thought that leaves me curious and tempted to snag immortality if offered. 

Now I want to replay the Mass Effect trilogy.

I’d only choose immortality if some bonus powers came with it so my eternal life wouldn’t be so dull. With that in mind, I’d rather die in 2 weeks.

Id take immortality tbh, just because it seems cool to instantly regenerate any wound u have and i kinda wanna see what becomes of the world.

Immortality for sure. Because the concept of dying scares the heck out of me. And what if we die and thats it? It scares me tbh. So, immortality.

Having immortality is just plain stupid, nothing hurts more than seeing the ones you loved leaving you and ending up all alone.

I'd rather choose the other option, though not a pleasant one but better letting go than holding onto nothing.
