A browse files button on the forums instead of the insert image of insert video(but still keep the link option)

I feel like it would be easier to add photos and videos to posts without having to copy the video or photo addresses. It also makes it kinda a bit more easier to add you own photos saved from you files

I think being a forum SmG get quite some traffic and if the files are being stored locally on the server then it will lead to extra space requirements and junk collection.

its really easy to post your images by hosting them on free image hosting services. They are also drag and drop, so yea.

Personally i use imgbb and they keep the files for forever.

or just make a personal server in discord to store all your data. use that links to insert images here. besides as an additional benefit you get a server for your emotes.

There's a few reasons why we don't already do this, but the main one's been mentioned already. We already host avatars on our servers, we don't wish to host much more. I'll look into alternatives for linking images, similar to how you'd link a video.
