Hey guys, I'm looking forward to upgrading my shitty laptop into a better gaming pc so I can play the same games that my friends and some of you play, like GTA V, Valorant, etc.

Also I'm into music production so it should have plenty of RAM to run various VSTi's or plugins in a DAW.

So I did a little bit of research and I came across the HP OMEN 15, it has the following specs, which I really liked:

CPU: Intel Core i7 9750h.
RAM: 32 GB running on dual channel. (idk the Mhz that these run on, I'll have to do more research)
Screen Res: 1920x1080
Disk Space: It comes with a 256GB SSD, but it's expandable with another 480GB SSD disk, giving a total capacity of 736GB which is pretty decent for a laptop.
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060Ti 6GB. (on a side note, I think this is the best price to quality ratio "affordable" GPU that's on the market right now, and the fact that comes in a laptop is pretty good)
Screen refresh rate: 144hz (super good imo).

In my country the currency is in pesos, so it would be $249.999, which in US dollars is $3576.
Do you think is a reasonable price considering the specs? What other gaming LAPTOP would you recomend me to buy?

laptops are always overpriced. You get much cheaper counterparts if you're building a pc.

Replying to you both, I'd do a build from scratch, I have the knowledge and the experience. The problem is that I NEED a laptop because of my job, I have to take my laptop with me when I go to work, so...

That's what I thought. Then, that's kinda good deal. 1060 is kind of outdated, but will handle 1080p144 gaming just fine. Seems a bit pricey to my eyes tho.

Yep, it is, maybe if I get it from the USA it will be cheaper, I'll have to see. If you have any other recommendations, please leave them in here cause I want to know

I can't really reccomend any laptop,I don't dabble too much into laptops but I can safely say,that is pretty overpriced,I wouldn't give 2000 dollars for it,dunno if it is the importing costs or whatever that makes the laptop so costy

Yeah, I think it's importing costs, because we have a 30% tax here of imported stuff, and a 21% tax for whatever reason (if you want to search up these taxes, they're called "Impuesto país" and "IVA" from Argentina)

Not sure either, but I will try to see if I can get that one or a similar one for less than that. Thanks to all for the advice!
