Can someone help me with The concept of a Syntax essay. I am really confused on this and my teacher wants me to watch a 45 minute videos on this.

Is this high school level English? I've never seen this before. There's also the possibility I slept through it. I'd help you dude but this is beyond the comprehension of my 3 braincells

Syntax is the way words and phrases are arranged. So like if you were trying to describe a ball that was blue and very large, you would say "the large blue ball" instead of " the blue large ball" or if you're talking about a person doing a thing it would be subject + verb + object receiving the action i.e. "Venus posted on the forum"

So I assume by syntax essay they are just expecting an essay where you are mindful of the order you write the words

I think I remember this when I was still at high school, it's easy if you're good at speaking english or you have common knowledge about it. It's arranged with colors, names and etc. but I guess you already got it Congrats!
