If youre older the age of 21 you know who Nirvana is, if you live in Seattle, you know who Nirvana is, if you listen to rock, you know who Nirvana is. Probably one of the most influential bands of all time, and its my pleasure to review them for you....



"Load up on guns, bring your friends."

There is one word that represents Nirvana, and the one word that represents its time: Nevermind. Ask anyone you know that you would consider old enough to know the answer to this question: Name one album from the 90s. This will be your answer will be Nirvana(Or OK Computer by Radiohead, another good album). Why? Cause this album was an album for a generation. Loads of hit spawned from this album from Lounge Act, Come as you go, In Bloom, Something in the way, and that one song that literally everyone knows, In the End before In the End: Smells like teen spirit.

"Am I the only one?"

Nirvana. Who do you think of? Kurt Cobain. Thats your answer, dont lie, thats your answer. But Nirvana is more than him, he had two amazing bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. Now Krist Novoselic hasnt really done much in his life past Nirvana but Dave Grohl has gone on to make the Foo Fighters, and has been a very vocal member of the rock music community. I'd suggest checking him and the foo fighters out. 

"Here we are now, entertain us"
Sadly, Kurt is dead and Nirvana has disbanded, however tons of bands were influenced by their sound.  There are obvious ones like Weezer, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, etc. But there are other artists like Lil Wayne, Lana Del Rey, Muse, Nickleback, and a ton of other artists you probably didnt know.

I feel like Foo Fighters never really got the admiration they deserved. I consider their works like "The Color and The Shape" and "In Your Honor" to be classic. I can't explain how much I've overplayed Everlong.
