SmGCraft 2.0

Some of you might've heard that we're planning to rehost SmGCraft again, and it is indeed true. But we need a bit of suggestions and hear what you guys would like to see in the Minecraft server. Me and @SmG Altair are going to rebuild the Minecraft server from the ground up and attempt to make it a LOT better than it was years ago. So here's the first path you guys can pick.

Modded MC Server (Will run the Better Minecraft Fabric modpack)

This will take some time to create due to mods and plugin compatibility workarounds. But here we aim to make Minecraft the game itself feel more 2.0 than it is right now. With more dimensions, more building materials, a lot more biomes and mobs/bosses. There's a lot more this modpack will have to offer. Running that modpack on the server alone is extremely easy. The difficult part is getting the plugins to work. Normally, plugins and mods simply cannot work together because they use different mod loaders. But there are also "Server-Side Mods" which basically acts like plugins, but disguised as a mod. However there isn't many SSM to work with due to how new this is.

Vanilla MC Server (A lot of plugins to work with)

This is the easiest to work with. Just plain vanilla with the latest Minecraft version. Without mods allows for a LOT plugin uses, which can let us make a safe server with a bunch of minigames you all might know such as McMMO, Bedwars, Factions etc. In general it is easier to maintain.

Vanilla: just add a portal that takes you to a vanilla world and add minigames in another world with plugins so people can decide what to play. It's easier to make, most of the plugins are really stable and pretty easy to use, everyone likes minigames and vanilla, most of the plugins are free and good so you can save money to pay a good subscription to a minecraft server hosting site with no lag and up 24/7. Ah also set in the server.properties online-mode on false, this should allow cracked players to join so you can be kind to members that can't still work and pay for a game and this would also bring to more members joining->more people playing together->they have fun->they play on the server.   that's it, bye bruh.

I voted modded, but it would be smarter to do vanilla verse to get a playerbase and then ask them if they want modded when there is a bigger pool of people
