The best RPG game i ever played was The Last Of Us, i remember back in 2013 when GTA 5 and The Last Of Us were the best games of the year and the ps4 was dominating, i remember playing The Last Of Us for the first time back in the day and it just blew me away, the graphics, the atmosphere, the storytelling, and the horror were beautiful and awesome, i played through the whole game 2 more times right after playing through it the first time because thats how good it was.

The most emotional RPG however was The Walking Dead but not the show, i mean The Walking Dead RPG game made by Telltale Games, i didnt even play through the game because i didnt own it, i actually watched Pewdiepies playthrough of the game which was a long ass time ago back when he still played amnesia, the gameplay was dumb but the storytelling was heartbreaking, the scene that made me cry was the end of season 1 when Clementine shot Lee, Pewdiepie also cried during that scene, that was the only time a video game ever made me cry.

Not entirely sure if it counts as an RPG game but considering it was made with RPG Maker I'd say my pick would be OMORI. 

Honestly there's not much more I can say about the game without ruining the experience for other players, but it's one of my favorite games of all time, and one of the few games in my life to affect me irl, I changed alot after playing it and it'll always hold a special place in my heart.

If any happens to come across this reply and wants to try it out its on steam, but don't read reviews or watch anything before playing it, it's a game similar to Undertale but with a more dark tone that is best experienced blind.

The one that prob hit me the hardest was Crisis Core on its first play thorough.

Seeing Sepheroth before he was a bad guy, and Zach at the end defending Cloud till his death hit me hella hard when I was younger.

The whole Mass Effect Trilogy for me. I played all the games in succession and the end of MS3 was an emotional ride for me. I felt fulfilled and happy and sad at the same time.

basically i enjoy every rpg gameplay by pewdiepie lol
