What made y'all join discord/ SMG? I joined discord because someone told me that it was cooler than skype, and boy were they right!

I was playing Halo 2 and was enjoying killing and getting killed, and saw the discord server link not knowing yet that i was joining a gaming clan, happy that i did.

I joined discord itself cause a lot of people on chatango were also going to or on discord. and i just said fuck it, at least i think, over four years ago now though. so i'm not all too sure.

Thanks heh, i'm glad to have joined i really like this clan thing, kinda reminds me of my childhood

I installed discord for clash of clans. I resigned from my clan shortly after we switched to discord. I began looking for other gaming teams and communities to chill in. After hopping from one community to another, I reached here.

I used to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and there were lot servers who have servers on discord. So, I joined them to discover more world of internet. I started using discord since 2016 and I'm still here.

I don't remember exactly how I found out about about Discord but I was always a person that likes to try out new things. It took a few months to convince my friends to switch over to Discord from Skype but it was definitely worth it
