Re: Halo : Revolution mod
I include Btcc22's HAC2 with Revolution package, mainly because of how many great features it has, of which one is indeed a FoV changer. I'm using 90 degrees for these pics, the default for halo i think is 70? Not sure, it's been forever since i used it.
As for the textures, I don't use textures less than 4x larger than original : so a 512x512 becomes 1024x1024, etc. Most textures end up being 1024, some are 2048, and occasionally a few are some odd dimensions like 512x1024, etc. As for making them bigger, well, the maps tend to run large as it is, mainly because of the high resolution textures, so I doubt I'll push the engine any further than it is.

Yeah, it's supposed to be post-halo 1, so the ring is broken and floating above in chunks. You can see nebulae because the atmosphere is mostly vented

Re: Halo : Revolution mod
Hey NeX, hope you don't mind that I posted your video on the forums. I saw the post on /r/halo and decided to show it to the team!
Great work by the way.

Re: Halo : Revolution mod
No problem man, I'll take any advertisement I can get!
As for being able to run it, I only have an Nvidia GT 520 and i can run it at about 80FPS. If you lower all your settings I get around 100

Re: Halo : Revolution mod
Yeah but I have a pre-built with a horrible graphics card. lol
I can barely run some of the maps I have.
I will try them anyway and see if I can run them at the lowest. :P

Re: Halo : Revolution mod
Aight, figured I'd update you guys. I just overhauled the whole tagset, reorganized the assets, and added some new content. The new first person arms look pretty badass TBH. Also have new Halo 4 announcer souds for some gametypes and kill awards, and a new flag and oddball. Also have some new grenade effects. Here's some vids and screenshots
