Look at shawn's rank, that is his posting rank as he is not a member. Look at your rank, there is no posting rank just your members rank.
He is after the posting rank badge that goes with the posting rank.

More technically speaking, Registered uses don't have a special rank so any custom rank defined in the ACP will display on their forum topic profile. Any group with a special rank attached to it, will display the special rank instead of the custom rank.
