sorry I'm from a time where SAPP wasn't used by every server and server admins were only chosen if you donated to help pay for the server. and the rcon pass was only given to server admins.

That's how we ran halo clans in 04 - 07. You guys are lucky to get server administration without helping pay for the servers.

Those were default commands when SAPP first came out before sehe was working on it, and terminator was still around. I'm sure they're still there.

Nice job Spy. But, we have SAPP.

Same concept tho.

In any event, I've been considering banning people for doing it, but everybody does it, so it's not really worth it.

Every time I see it happen, I just get in the vehicle, warp it out of the tunnel and move on. I do it with them in it too, to really screw with them. (My little guilty pleasure. Funny to hear their reactions after 6 or 7 times.)

Banning I think is a little unnecessary though.

I usually kick them after a warning and if they do it again after rejoining then I temp ban them if I redo it. Occasionally I'm sitting there trying to figure it out and end up kicking them about six times and then thy leave.

I think its now a ban on sight. They see the message enough times and when we start IP-Banning then noobs will stop instead of coming back and doing it again. It sends out a warning saying stop or your going to get permanently banned too.

IP banning is a bit overkill IMO. For the repeat offenders, sure, but a temp ban is a good place to go for those who are trying to have a few laugh with it.
