That is putins ultimate plan, mind you. The Crimean secession, ratified by a flimsy parliament of backwater, corrupt business men that blocked the viewing of tallying the votes was not a legitimate secession, and is not recognized by anyone but Russia, including Kiev.

Russia wants to instigate an armed response to justify invading the rest of Ukraine. It didn't start with Ukraine, and it won't end in Ukraine.
