Does having good qualities make someone a good person?

What is a good person?

Better yet, what is good?

Good is a term that is vastly dependent on the mind of the individual.

Wouldn't that mean that "everyone having good qualities" is entirely dependent upon the perspective it has been examined through, and as a result is not an objective truth? Couldn't I just as easily say that no one has any good qualities because in some subjective viewpoint, nothing is good?

Re: Sup!

You absolutely could - the terms are relative and your use of them stems from whatever moral code you've developed as time progresses.

If something isn't good, is it automatically bad?

You could have a "bad" day, but is that a "bad" day as opposed a "good" day, or some other kind of day?

However, if nothing is good, can anything be "bad"?

*insert something from nothing vs nothing from nothing debate here*

No

...yes?

Yes. The concept of good can still exist even if bad is all that is applied in the world around you. Nothing being good doesn't necessarily imply that nothing could be good.
