Why must all the oldest shows usually be the best ones on television. Have directors just stopped not able to create new and original content?

No, it is because children and even some parents now and days get offended off anything and a lot of the old shows have either a ton of subliminal messages or they were considered too mature/explicit for children/parents of today getting upset and offended by nearly anything.

Ex. Ren and Stimpy is honestly fucked if you read the subliminal messages, some shows have more than others.

Im not sure if this is a joke, but it actually is true lol. I loved a lot of older tv shows and now they aren't being aired anymore.
