Definitely not. Buy A-Hat-In-Time instead, it does everything Yooka Laylee dreamed of being but better.

The reason why the voice acting in Yooka Laylee is annoying compared to Banjo Kazooie is because it's a lot sharper and is louder than the background music so it's a lot more repetitive and annoying.

Take the duck's voice for example. It's so loud and sharp compared to the rest of the music and sound effects.
There's more than just the voice acting to why people don't like it, the worlds are too big and empty with very little to do in them

I'll agree with the duck, that voice is annoying xD
And I have heard that argument about the worlds being too big and too empty, that's a real shame.. the game is on sale for really cheap right now so I'm torn whether or not I should buy it even if it does have these little annoying issues
