Hello guys, I have posted this issue to two different clan in a hope to get some help and i was told to talk to Cloud about the issue.

When I try to make a halo dedicated server it all works fir except 2 things...

1) No matter what I write as the sv_name it will always say; "name unset, defaulting to Halo"
2) I cannot EVER see my server in the online games, even if I leave it running i cannot see it anywhere.

Is anyone able to help?

You mean Halo:Custom Edition right?
I could help you with it, but talk to SmG R3con about it (xfire: r41dp4r7y )
He fixed my billions of problems with my server and also should be able to help you out.

The first step to setting up the server is download SAPP. (google it)

Thank you for the advice and no, i didn't mean custom edition, i mean combat evolved. That is the game i play on most and would like to make a dedicated server. But because of the reasons above I find it difficult.
