OK, so CraftBukkit has reach stable 1.3.1 status. So, it's ready to go whenever I am ready to update the server.

However, most of the plugins are not 1.3.1 ready. It seems that the only one ready to go is Essentials. Everything else is still in dev stages.

So, my question to you guys. Do you want to see how well we fair with just Essentials? For me, I can't really see anything else needed. Essentials takes care of mostly everything. The only one I really need to wait for are WorldGuard/WorldEdit. And from my understanding, they are very close to a stable build as well.

But, I will leave it to your choice.

Also, I'd recommend waiting for a stable world edit and world guard, as by then any potential bug fixes will have been resolved.

So, it seems that the general consensus is upgrade. Fine. But, don't come whining to me if things aren't working. I can't reverse it. LOL!

Yes, a new seed will happen. Oh, and if I see someone spawn villagers and put them in a pen again, I will slap the crap out of you, and then ban you for a week, and revoke your power.
