I played Halo when it came out on the XBox and then later on the universal binary version for Mac. I play H2V now on PC so I don't know anything about Halo CE but it seems that more people on SmG play it and support it than H2V. Why? Should I be playing CE and if so is it simply a matter of buying Halo PC then downloading CE from the net? This question may have been answered somewhere else already but help me out here please.

CE is just simple to play, you can find a legit and cracked version on internet without any trouble and play right ahead... H2V requires some time to set-up you need to make a xbox live account get a CE key and you'll get alot of compability problems if you're running it on XP/7. CE is just easier to get

yes buy the game that is the hpc version (if you want a non-cracked ky meaning a key that might not work because someone got banned) and get the hce version from the net. Here is the link to it.

And no its hard because if you have a cracked key that some hacker used and got banned from the servers. You won't be able to play on the servers.

H2V is hard but not hard to lose the game and restart the profile process's. because you just put in you xbox account and that is it. game back on with no data lost.

there are custom ui.map files so you can download and play the campaign on HCE too. Just thought I would point that out

No Ghostly, it only works if you download the maps as well. I mean the UI will look like PC's, but you will have to go through the time of downloading all the Campaign maps.

Because everyone is too poor for a decent PC, and Halo 2, that's why they don't have it. :lol:

yeah and there are custom maps in h2v just no single player maps. i like hce because of the maps and campaign.

Pretty much, you can download CE, whereas you have to buy H2V, and since most people are lazy, they just get CE
I have played both games for a while now, and overall, i prefer H2V, better maps, no leading with my 300+ ping, battle rifle is awsum and other reasons [kewlz]
