When I click the HCE icon it freezes and I have to do a hard restart. What am I doing wrong or not doing for that matter? I would really like to play HCE with SmG members. Any help will be appriciated.

Have you tried re-intalling the game? Maybe your Halo wasn't installed properly.

I have downloaded it a number of times. and every time it freezes so I don't know what to do .

Can u run halo in Safemode?
Add this to HCE shortcut " -Safemode" without the quotes and yes there is a space before it.
